Our open mic shows are a BLAST, usually featuring 10 to 20 comics from all over Illinois and beyond! The show is 8 p.m. The lounge opens at 7:15.
If you're not performing, tickets are just $5. Open mic comedy shows are an opportunity for aspiring comics to get stage time and a super-fun chance for anyone who's EVER wanted to tell jokes and funny stories before a group of strangers. It's easy. Prepare 5 minutes ( or less ) and then simply show up, sign up and go up! We've been doing the open mic shows since November of 2000. Emmy and Golden Globe-nominated Janelle James started here in 2012. She now has two Netflix specials and is the hilarious principal "Ava" on ABC's "Abbott Elementary!"
To guarantee your seats, click on the show, follow the prompts, and you'll enjoy a great show! Walk-ins are also welcome for the open mic nights! If you ever have a questions, simply TEXT Dan the owner at 309-635-3900.
Doors will open at 7:15 p.m. Dress is casual. Where whatever you like, just wear something.
Parking is available in front of the club and to the east and west of the building.
There's Butch's pizza and garlic cheese bread, popcorn and chips available for snacking.
The lounge has cold drinks, including root beer floats, 6 flavors of shakes and more.
